Cheating: Honor vs Ease

When it comes to the problem of students cheating at school, we’d like to think that there’s nothing new under the sun. Except that teachers at local high schools and community colleges say that with the advent of ubiquitous electronic devices with recording and storing capability, everything from cell phones with cameras and Internet capabilities to iPods that can download video present a new way of doing the dirty deed….That solution would be the universal adoption of an honor code. Schools and student bodies that use one say that cheating is virtually unheard of on their campuses.
